Quarterly Production Report Subscription
Four reports are published about two weeks after the end of each quarter. For softwood plywood and oriented strand board (OSB), the report contains regional production, imports and exports along with consumption in the U.S. and Canada. Regions include the West, Inland and South in the U.S. and all of Canada. Import data include cross border trade between the U.S. and Canada and total imports from offshore locations. Exports of plywood and OSB to the largest destination countries are provided.
Also included are the U.S. and Canadian production of glued laminated timber (glulam), wood I-joists and laminated veneer lumber (LVL). There is also a five-year listing of new mill starts and permanent closures for plywood, OSB and engineered wood products.
The report is in PDF format and includes a one-page narrative. Slides from the report are also provided in PowerPoint format. Annual subscription, $500. Will be sent via e-mail.
