APA – The Engineered Wood Association is pleased to announce that Chris Degnan has joined our Board of Trustees. Degnan is the Director of Commodities and Home Improvement Warehouse for Weyerhaeuser and has a background in sales and marketing of engineered wood, OSB and plywood products.

Degnan holds a degree in forestry from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Louisiana Tech. He started his career as a district forester in Louisiana. Before joining Weyerhaeuser in 2008, he was a sales manager for Willamette Industries.

“We appreciate the valuable contribution Mr. Degnan will bring to our association as we continue to represent the industry with integrity, innovation and quality,” said Ed Elias, APA president. “We look forward to working with him.”
